Get organized
Plan it on one page,
then shop once.
Most last-minute stress comes from shopping twice. The guide includes a short planning checklist, so you can decide what to make and what to buy before you leave the house.
- Choose two or three projects. Start with the Quick wins if time is short.
- Read each supply list. Every project lists exactly what to gather.
- Tick off what you already own. Jars, paper and ribbon are often already in the house.
- Make one sample first. Repeat it if you like the result.
Inside every project
Clear steps.
No perfect cuts needed.
Every project page follows the same calm layout, so you always know what to gather and what comes next.
Gather
A clear supply list, with ready-made shortcuts where they make the project easier.
Make it, step by step
Numbered instructions written for beginners, with a practical note on each step.
A little help
One short tip for the moment most people get stuck, such as a floppy wing or a weak glow.
Your result
An honest note on what to expect, so your finished version feels right even if it’s simpler than the picture.

Reusable patterns
Print only
what you need.
Read the guide on your phone, tablet or computer. When a project needs a shape, print that one page at Actual size / 100% and check the scale line before you cut.

Good to know
About the pictures
and your results.
The images in the guide are AI-generated styling references for colour and arrangement. They are not photographs of tested builds, and the projects have not been physically build-tested. Each “Your result” note explains where the achievable version is smaller or simpler.
Use battery LED lights near paper and fabric, follow product and fixing instructions, and keep doors, stairs and walking routes clear.
A few things to know
Made to keep
things simple.
Is it too late to decorate?
Not if you pick small projects. 9 of the 15 are estimated at 30 minutes or less with no drying time, so a few can be done in one evening. Choose one or two, gather the supplies from their lists, and add more if you have time before October 31.
Is it really free?
Yes. Enter your email and your download buttons appear right away on this page. Signing up also adds you to our email list, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Should I choose A4 or US Letter?
Both files contain the same 21-page guide. Choose the one that matches the paper in your printer: US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches, A4 is 210 × 297 millimetres.
Do I need a printer?
No. You can read the whole guide on a phone, tablet or computer. A printer is only useful for the pattern pages (bats, moons, ghost cards and bottle labels), which print best at Actual size / 100%.
What supplies will I need?
Each project lists its own supplies, so choose one project and read its list before you shop. Some use items like battery LED lights, craft paint or cheesecloth; the guide points out ready-made shortcuts where they help.
Will mine look like the pictures?
Not exactly, and that’s fine. The pictures are AI styling mockups for mood and arrangement. Every project ends with a “Your result” note describing the simpler, achievable version.
Are the projects safe to try?
The guide uses battery LED lights only, never real candles, near paper and fabric. It also reminds you to keep doors, stairs and walking routes clear and to follow the instructions that come with your products and fixings. The projects have not been physically build-tested.
What is the Halloween Command Center?
It is a separate, optional web planner for the rest of Halloween: party plan, guest list, budget, shopping list, menu, costumes and a timeline. You will see it after you download the guide. It costs $19.99. The free guide is complete without it.
