This Privacy Policy explains how Halloween Command Center ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit this website, sign up for our free Halloween guide, join our email list, or buy from us. It should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using the website you acknowledge this Policy.
Information we collect
- Email address (and any other detail you type into our forms) when you sign up for the free guide or join our email list.
- Order and contact details when you buy: name, email, billing details and order information. Card details are handled by Shopify and its payment providers; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us, for example a support email.
- Device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived (for example from an ad), collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.
- Email interaction information, such as whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked, collected by our email service.
How we use it
- To send you the free guide: after you sign up, we email you a welcome message with download links for the PDF.
- To send you marketing emails, only if you signed up or otherwise consented. These may include Halloween ideas, tips, updates and offers for our products, including the Halloween Command Center.
- To process orders, deliver the digital product and provide customer support.
- To run and improve the website, measure our advertising, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To comply with the law.
Email marketing and your consent
When you submit your email on our free-guide page, you consent to receive the welcome email and further marketing emails from us. We record your signup (the email address, the time, and that it came from the free-guide form) and tag your record as a free-guide subscriber so we can send you the right emails.
You can withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time, at no cost, by using the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing bigzada761@gmail.com. We will honour your request promptly. Every marketing email identifies us as the sender and includes our mailing address: 666 Boul Marie Victorin, Boucherville QC J4B 1X9, Canada. We do not sell your email address.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only as needed to run the store, with:
- Shopify, which hosts this store, processes payments and provides our email tools, and handles information under its own privacy notice (Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy);
- payment processors and other service providers who help us deliver the Services, send email, analyse traffic, or provide support;
- advertising platforms, if we use their tools on this website to measure or show our ads (for example Facebook), which use information under their own policies;
- authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or in a sale or reorganisation of our business.
Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than where you live, including Canada and the United States.
Cookies
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the store working, remember your cart, understand how the site is used and measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above (for example, while you remain subscribed or for tax and accounting records), and then delete or anonymise it. If you unsubscribe, we keep a record of that choice so we do not email you again.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local privacy authority. To make a request, email bigzada761@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, and our store runs on Shopify's secure platform, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
